Nonfiction book cover design
You’ve put time, research, and experience into your book. Let’s give it a cover that makes its subject clear and feels right for the people you want to reach.
We design custom covers for memoirs, business books, personal development, and other nonfiction titles, with coordinated options for eBook and print.

Selected work
Different books. Different approaches.
A memoir may call for a personal image or a sense of place. A business book may need a bold title and a simple visual idea. These projects show some of the directions we’ve taken for nonfiction authors. Open a cover to see its project page.

Make the subject clear. Give readers a reason to look closer.
Nonfiction covers often have a lot to communicate: a title, a subtitle, an author’s name, and sometimes an endorsement. We work on the hierarchy so readers can understand the main idea without everything competing for attention.
We’ll talk about your audience, the books yours will sit beside, and the tone you want to convey. That guides the image choices, lettering, and colors, whether your book is practical, personal, reflective, or research-led.
Your feedback is part of the process. You can share cover references, explain what you like about them, and tell us what you want to avoid.

Working together
From your brief to a finished cover
- Tell us about your book.
Share the subject, intended readers, preferred formats, and your publishing date. We’ll discuss the scope and quote. - Review the design direction.
We develop the cover around your brief. You review the concepts and share feedback as we refine the design. - Prepare the final files.
Once the artwork and copy are approved, we prepare the files for the formats in your order. Print setup uses your final production details.
What to send with your inquiry
A working title and short description are enough to start a conversation. If you have them, include:
- Your subtitle and author name as they should appear.
- Who the book is for and what it offers them.
- A few covers you like, with a note about why.
- Your eBook, paperback, or hardcover plans.
- Trim size, estimated page count, and target publication date.
For final print files, we’ll also need the final page count and back-cover copy. If those are still in progress, let us know.

Questions about nonfiction cover design
How much will my cover cost?
The quote depends on your formats and the artwork your book needs. Send a brief through our free cover quote form, including whether you need illustration, a paperback wrap, or a hardcover version. We’ll help you identify the right scope before you order.
Can you design a memoir or a business book cover?
Yes. Our nonfiction portfolio includes memoirs, business titles, personal-development books, and health and wellness projects. We’ll discuss the audience and tone of your particular book before choosing a direction.
Do I need to finish my manuscript first?
You can contact us while you’re still writing or editing. A clear subject, working title, and intended audience help us start the discussion. Final print-cover setup needs the confirmed trim size, page count, and printer requirements.
How long does a project take?
Timing depends on the artwork, formats, feedback, and when your final copy is ready. Include your target publication date when you request a quote so we can confirm a schedule for your project.
Can you help beyond the cover?
Yes. You can ask about interior formatting or our publishing assistance package. Tell us what you’ve already completed and where you need a hand.
Tell us what you’re writing.
Whether you’re sharing lived experience or explaining a subject you know well, we’d like to hear about your book. Send us a short brief and we’ll help you work out the next step for its cover.
