At ilovemycover.com our goal in everything we do on the site is to bring the professionalism and quality of a big publishing house to independent authors and authors who are new to the scene.

How to reach out to us

Because we want to make the process as easy as possible for everyone, we have many ways to start an order. The easiest way would be to reach out and say “hello” to us via email. You can also use our convenient order helper, and let the website point you in the right direction for your needs. Otherwise you can order straight from our store if you know exactly what you are looking for and have a good idea of what you want designed.

You can also ask us for a direct quote, and we can invoice you directly to your email for the services


Typical order flow process on ilovemycover.com

All orders are different, but this is generally what to expect when ordering from ilovemycover.com

First contact - When you first reach out to us via email for our free quote form, we generally respond within 12-24 hours on weekdays and 24-48 hours on weekends or the coming Monday.

Order discussion - We will discuss what you are looking for with your book cover, and get your ideas and feedback on what you would like to see. Normally this takes a few rounds of emails to make sure we are on the same page, but we have found it is best to establish a strong starting point and also develop a relationship with the author/client.

Design process - Once you order we will start the design process. We will go over everything we chatted about directly through email and do our best to bring your cover to life. This process can take anywhere from 2-4 days depending on the complexity of the design and what your order is comprised of. (We do offer 24 hour delivery for rush orders)

First proof - After the scheduled time we will deliver a first proof of your order. This is the first time you will get a chance to look at your cover and provide feedback. During this process, in general, we can change anything you want because with the first proof, nothing is set in stone. You provide the feedback, and we will take that, move on,  and continue the proofing process.

Edits and Revisions - Generally after 1-2 proofs, we are in the small edits and revisions territory. This would just be minor tweaks and adjustments, and would also be when we start on the rest of the order, if you have ordered a full cover.

Additional Proofs - The rest of your order will be delivered for a final proof. This is where you would look over everything one last time, and we would make any final edits.

Final Delivery - The final delivery will be sent via a link to our secure cloud service where your book files can be downloaded. We do generally keep these files forever, but we do ask that you download everything for your records to ensure you will always have future access to them.

After that, you are all finished!  It might look like a lot, but once you start the process you will see we are extremely easy to work with, and  we offer one of the friendliest, most professional services online.
